Description
Planet Scuba – where the fun continues!
Have you ever wondered what it’s like at 30m or what you might see on a night dive?? Ever wanted to visit a shipwreck or navigate your way to one?
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences – that’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be ‘advanced’ to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after PADI Open Water Diver certification. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and builds your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. It is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to a range of new activities.
What You Learn
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver program is conducted in an open water environment and does not involve any confined water/pool training. You’ll hone your skills by completing five adventure dives that introduce you to underwater navigation, deeper water diving (typically between 18-30 metres) and three more Adventure Dives of your choice, according to the logistics and local conditions at the dive site. Some examples are:
– Night Adventure Dive
– Wreck Adventure Dive
– Drift Adventure Dive
– Digital Underwater Photography Adventure Dive
– Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive
You may discuss the choices with your Instructor and find one relevant and appealing for you!
