Spare Air dive gear purchased from Authorized Spare Air Distributors and its appointed Dealers carries warranty from Spare Air.

Spare Air Statement of Warranty
Submersible Systems, LLC. (SSLLC) guarantees, to the original purchaser only, and the products was purchased from an Authorized Spare Air distributor, that the product purchased will be free of defects in materials and/or craftsmanship under normal SCUBA use for one year from date of purchase, provided proper care has been performed as prescribed by the owner’s manual supplied along with the product. Should this product prove to be defective for any reason (other than those listed in the limitations section below) the product will be repaired or replaced (at SSLLC’s discretion) free of charge (excluding shipping and handling charges.) This warranty shall be considered null and void if the product was obtained from an Unaithorized party and where the registration card is not filled out completely and mailed to SSLLC within 15 days of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.

How to obtain warranty service
You must return your product to Submersible Systems to obtain warranty service. You must provide a copy of the original sales receipt and a copy of the owner’s portion of this warranty registration. Freight must be prepaid. Please enclose a letter with your daytime telephone number describing the exact nature of the difficulty you are experiencing.

Statement of Limitations
General Warranty does not cover damage from accident, abuse, tampering, lack of proper care and maintenance and/or improper annual servicing. Modifications or repair by anyone other than an SSLLC Authorized Repair Facility voids warranty. SSLLC will not be responsible for recovery or replacement of the product in the event of loss or theft. SSLLC, its distributors, and retailers make no warranties, either expressed or implied orally or in writing, with respect to this product or its accompanying owner’s manual except those stated in the preceding paragraphs. By purchasing this product it is agreed and understood that in no event will SSLLC, its distributors or retailers be held liable for any personal injuries resulting from its operation, or for any other damages whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential even if SSLLC has been advised of such damages. This Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose (some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so the above exclusions may not apply to you).

Please be aware that not every business that advertises and sells Spare Air branded products is an Authorized Spare Air Dealer. Unauthorized dealers/ retailers offering Spare Air products on-line may have acquire those products through unknown sources and may be copies of our Original Spare Air. Products purchased through unauthorized retailers and copies of Spare Air products are not eligible for Spare Air warranty protection, service, or support. Spare Air cannot guarantee in any way the condition of the product you receive through these unauthorized retailers or guarantee:

• The product is in fact a Spare Air product
• The product contains all original and current Spare Air factory parts.
• The product meets all original Spare Air factory specifications.

If you require warranty or non-warranty service on any Spare Air or affiliate branded product not purchased through an authorized Spare Air Dealer, you may be refused service by Spare Air or may incur additional service charges.

How often should I service my SPARE AIR?
SPARE AIR is recommended to be serviced annually and Hydrostatically tested every five years.

Can I send a warranty repair to my local Dive shop?
All warranty repairs must be done by the factory in the U.S. or by your distributor if located outside the U.S. Our Warranty Repair Page has more information. International customers, please contact your local dealer for a regional distributor.

How long does it take to service a unit if I send it to Submersible Systems?
Between seven to ten working days upon receiving it.

What information do I need to include when sending in my unit for repair?

How much will it cost to have my unit serviced by SSI and what does the service include?
Service includes overhaul of regulator, replacement of worn parts and VIP of cylinder and includes upgrading models with a flip valve or knob to always on check valve. All prices listed on the downloadable Spare Air Repair Form.
