Established in 1999, we are currently celebrating eleven years at the forefront of the Malaysian diving industry.
Conveniently located in the heart of Bangsar, Planet Scuba was the first PADI dive centre in Kuala Lumpur to be accredited with prestigious ‘5 Star Instructor Development Centre’ status.  This PADI membership level indicates a commitment to providing quality training, products, services and experiences, as well as supporting professional level development.

EDUCATION – Learn to dive today!

Planet Scuba offers the full range of PADI recreational diving courses, from introductory level (e.g. Discover Scuba), through basic certification (e.g. Open Water Diver), to continuing education (e.g. Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver).  Several specialty courses (e.g. wreck diving, deep diving) are also available for those wanting to broaden their experience or work towards the elite PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
Our instructors are highly experienced professionals, well practiced with local diving conditions here in South-East Asia and keen to convey their passion for diving.  Class sizes are kept small in order to ensure that each student receives the necessary level of personal attention during training.  Knowledge development and confined water sessions are conducted in Kuala Lumpur, ensuring rapid progression through the training modules.  Open water training is carried out during weekend trips at various dive destinations on the east coast of peninsular Malaysia – a chance to put those new found skills into action!  Check out our Training section to see the latest schedule.

EQUIPMENT – Get yourself geared up!

Any scuba diver will tell you that their sport is a gear-intensive one, with equipment vital to allow us to adapt to the underwater world.  Access to quality equipment that suits your preferences is thus crucial to safety and enjoyment.  At Planet Scuba we pride ourselves on offering the best equipment on the market.
Planet Scuba is the sole distributor for Aqualung diving equipment in Malaysia, offering products under the well known Aqualung Group- Aqualung, Apeks, Seaquest, Deep See and Technisub brands. Recently we have also introduced the excellent South African range of Frog Dive Gear to Malaysia. Our knowledgeable retail team will be pleased to discuss your equipment needs and recommend the most suitable products for you.
Planet Scuba also has a fully equipped service center and team of trained technicians to ensure regular maintenance of kit for optimal underwater performance.

At Planet Scuba our motto is ‘let’s go diving!’ and in that spirit we offer a full and varied diving trip calendar – something for every taste and budget!  Being located here in Kuala Lumpur grants us convenient access to Malaysia’s rich assortment of dive sites – both on the peninsular and in Borneo.  During the peak season we aim to have group trips going out on a couple of weekends each month, making use of public holidays where possible!
